Camping

It is crazy to think about everything we've done this summer.
It is so sad to think that Jordon starts school tomorrow and our summer adventures will come to an end!
We knew we had to get one more outing in before school takes over Jordon's life.
We went camping in Stanley, Idaho aka one of the prettiest places I've ever seen in my LIFE.

The Sawtooth Mountains were amazing.

I must credit little Kelsie for taking this cute picture :)

The amazing view from our campsite. Even after our practice run we had a few mishaps setting up the tent. A little tension led to Kelsie fully being trapped under the tent. It was quite the experience.

We had lots of campfires and even more smores.

We went on a 7 mile hike.
Kelsie thought that wasn't enough so she wanted to climb up the mountain to a waterfall.
Worse idea ever.
It was so steep and rocky.
One wrong step and I thought I was going to tumble down the mountain.

Luckily we made it down alive.
If you look closely you can see the waterfall behind us in the picture below.
It was pretty high up there.

We made a little drive to visit Redfish lake and eat some ice cream.

We had a badminton tournament.
It turned into quite the competitive match.
Dad running around the court fist pumping, name calling, and trash talking were a few things that happened during our friendly match.

It was so much fun.
I can't wait till next summer's adventures :)

I can just imagine your father running around fist pumping and it makes me laugh so hard

let it be known that the fist pumping was done after dad pelted me with the birdie right in the jugular!!
