Reminiscing

Today as I attended the dedication of the new BYU-Center, I was flooded with different emotions. I'm so ready to start this next chapter of my life, but at the same time sad as I remember how many memories I am leaving here. Four and a half years is quite a bit of time. Even though there were times when I was so over Rexburg, singing hymns in class, and slick roads I have really enjoyed these past years.

Year One: Best roommates of my life which resulted in 2 failed classes, many sleepless nights, too much junk food, and the best freshman year I could have ever imagined.
Year two: Although losing Allison was hard, it was such a learning experience for me. I learned so much about myself, and my testimony. I sure do miss her.
Year 2: Roommates with this little goon :) we spent our days consuming 44 ounces of soda.

In year two I met Jordon, fell in love, and sent him of to Atlanta, Georgia for his mission.
Year 3: Krystin comes to BYUI! Even though our roommate situation was not ideal, we still had so much fun! We had emotional breakdowns the first week of school, you could call it a quarter life crisis... we still laugh about this today. This girl has been my rock here at school!
Year three and a half: Disneyland with Krystin = amazing

Year four: Me and krystin attempt to hike a mountain, we are not sure if it was even the right trail or not. We may have had ourselves convinced that we were being stalked by a mountain lion.
Fun roommates, lots of laugh, and a few fights over who's dishes were in the sink ... of course.
Year 4 highlight: Jordon comes home!
WE GET MARRIED!
Year 4 1/2: Finish up school in Rexburg
Starting tomorrow: We will start our new life in Boise, Idaho and we could not be more excited.

Congrats on graduation and student teaching. I still miss BYUI some days myself, it is a great place. Good luck teaching and don't get overwhelmed! :)
